Once upon a time, I made guitar pick choker necklaces for the teenage fans of my bubblegum rock band. Back then I didn’t really wear much jewelry myself. When the band broke up, I still had a bunch of necklaces left over, so I got crafty. Nowadays I wear the purple version of this necklace almost every day. For me, it’s a little reminder of a past life that I’m grateful for, even though it didn’t go as planned.  KM
