I wrote this to be the title track of a holiday album I make someday. It’s also a little love letter to Capricorn season and all it entails – looking backwards and forwards, finding resolve at a time that is often cold and harsh.

Stay Inside

When I don’t know what to write, I like to write about the weather. It’s an endless source of inspiration for me, whether it’s pathetic fallacy or juxtaposition. This song is a little of both.

Fun fact: most Christmas songs are pitched in the spring and recorded in the summer. Here’s a holiday love song I wrote on vacation in Vienna, where the first snow globe was invented.
